Laura Larson moved back to Virginia with her family after 2 years in Valdez, Alaska. Her husband is in the Coast Guard. They have four children Liam, Jack, Joe, and Bridgette. Before living in Alaska, they lived in Hampton Roads, Virginia for 9 years where she practiced as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with the Children’s Clinic in Newport News.
Laura's education background is a Bachelor’s of Science in Education, specifically in Community Health Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; after her Bachelors, she continued at UT to earn her RN and Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with her Master’s of Science, Nursing in 1997. She joined Preferred Pediatrics in October of 2007 and is excited to be working for a pediatric practice that is family oriented and loving.
