Dr. Gurfinkel graduated from Russian State Medical University in 1996. After completing the pediatric track in medical school he worked as a pediatrician in Moscow.
In February 1997 he immigrated to the US. Upon taking all the necessary steps to verify his credentials, he was accepted to the pediatric residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and successfully completed that program in June 2003. He passed the board exams in October of 2003. He also received additional training in surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and George Washington University in Washington, DC.
He joined the practice in December 2007, and practices in the Lee's Hill office.
